Is it odd...

Is it a bit odd that I really love watching kids movies with my girls? Often I'll rent them a video of their own when I rent a video for myself. They get to keep/watch the video for a week, where-as my videos usually need to be returned in the next day or two.

This week the girls video rental was Island Princess Barbie, and it's such a great movie. I love that she talks and plays with the island animals, sleeps in a tree, high dives into lakes and is perfectly content with life on her island. What I love even more is that when she gets back to civilization, no one thinks it's odd that she can talk to animals. They don't act like she's insane or think that she's putting them on, they simply believe her.

I also love that there is a happy ending without too much drama in the middle. Oh, and the singing! I love all the singing. In fact, I've been singing the Island Princess Barbie songs all week!
